Seven grassroots nature projects Ma Earth and One Earth are helping grow

Communities around the world are working to restore forests, protect watersheds, and safeguard biodiversity, but face funding obstacles. Less than 3% of global philanthropy goes towards Earth care. Ma Earth is connecting grassroots nature projects with support to address climate and biodiversity crises, with projects in Colombia, Argentina, Indonesia, Tanzania, Madagascar, and Colombia focusing on restoring ecosystems, strengthening community resilience, and protecting biodiversity. Initiatives such as Yayasan Gambut, Sustainable Ocean Alliance Tanzania, Hutan Itu Indonesia, AMPELA, and Fundación Guanacas Bosques de Niebla are amplifying Indigenous leadership, involving women entrepreneurs, rural youth, and farming families, and creating new opportunities for coastal communities to combat climate change through conservation and restoration efforts.
