The Austin-San Antonio region in South Central Texas has been chosen as the next hub for the Climate Resilient Communities Accelerator by C2ES, focusing on extreme heat, wildfire, and flooding. The goal is to drive investment, improve public health and safety, and advance solutions with co-benefits for water affordability. Over the next two years, the Accelerator will collaborate with regional partners to create an action roadmap and identify federal policy priorities for long-term climate investments.
